We attended my Grandma's funeral in San Diego last weekend. Most of the family was there to celebrate Grandma's life. It was a beautiful day at Rosecran's cemetery, where Grandma was laid to rest along side Grandpa. The service in Alpine brought family and friends together to remember Grandma.

October Update

Caiden is 8 months old now. He is growing up so fast. He is standing up on pretty much everything and cruisin' around the furniture. He loves cauliflower, bananas, and water. I tried given him some pureed turkey and he acted like he was gagging on it. Maybe he will be a vegetarian. He says "mmm" alot so I think he is getting really close to saying mama. I just wish he would start sleeping through the night!!

We took Caiden to The Avila Valley Barn to get a pumpkin. We took lots of pictures of him sitting on the big pile of pumpkins but this is only shot we got with a smile. He wasn't so sure about the pumpkins. We showed him all of the farm animals and had a caramel apple.

Caiden's Trip to Idaho

We took Caiden to Idaho for my cousin's wedding. We fly up with my mom and then drove back with Clint. It was Caiden's first plane ride. I think we gave the couple in front of us on the plane some free birth control and the woman sitting next to us got a free show when Caiden suddenly decided he wasn't hungry anymore!! We had a great time and Caiden loved meeting all of his cousins. He got go play in a swing and sit on slide for the first time.

I just love that big smile. It is amazing the silly things I will do just to hear him laugh.

Caiden's First Dodger Game

We took Caiden to Dodger Stadium for his very first Dodger's game. We went with Auntie Christi and Tristan and had a great time, even though the Dodger's won. ((Even though my son is a Dodger fan I will always cheer for the Padres.) We ate nachos and Dodger dogs and were lucky to be sitting in the shade. Caiden was wide eyed and just taking it all in. He made it to the the top of the 8th inning before he took a nap on my lap. Caiden got a new hat and Dodger's bear on the way out of the stadium. Thank you to Auntie Christi and Tristan for sharing such a great day with us. Unlike most Dodger fans we got to the game early.
